Build Updates: First Update
10 July 2026

This is not actually week one. I only realised yesterday that it has been exactly one month today. Things have gone so quickly that I thought I needed to quickly start providing weekly updates before things start to move even faster than they already are. So, let’s begin.
The core feature that Adam’s Brain is built around is the actual Brain itself. I’m not going to go too deeply into how it works yet, because I’ve realised there is a difference between building in public and explaining your entire technical advantage to the internet. What I can say is that the Brain sits behind every feature that Adam’s Brain will ship with. It takes in information from across a business, connects it, reasons through it, and helps the user understand what is happening, why it matters, and what needs to happen next.
The Live Intelligence Feed is fully functioning within the platform we’ve built, but we’ve also built most, if not all, of the core features as well. If I didn’t have Claude and Codex, I don’t know where I would be.
So far, the app has two key features: the Live Intelligence Feed and the Brain Assistant, or “Ask the Brain”. It’s a personal AI assistant that lives inside the app that you can interact with throughout. It understands your business data and can assist with anything relating to your brand. Very soon, it’s going to start carrying out tasks on request, allowing users to move from understanding what is happening to actually doing something about it.
So far, the platform no longer lives locally. I’ve just deployed it to the server and everything is working. Hopefully, over the next two weeks, I’ll start sharing more of the functionality.
As the features are being built, I’m simultaneously listening to startup podcasts and taking agency work calls, so I find myself constantly questioning what I’m doing. Should I even be here? Is this going to work? Does this already exist?
That last one seems to be my biggest fear.
I understand the problem that exists, and I know what the solutions are, but has it been done in this way before? And if it has, is it working?
Well, I’m in a constant state of research. I research everything. I end up down rabbit holes for hours, trying to satisfy this obsessive need to find the endpoint, feeding as much knowledge into my brain as possible.
So far, it doesn’t exist in the way we’re building it.
There are business intelligence tools, project management tools, CRMs, dashboards, and AI assistants, but very few platforms have been built specifically around the complete experience of running a founder-led business. I keep asking myself why. Why has nobody thought to give a business owner, manager, or decision-maker the ability to actively run an entire business from one place? One location. You log in, and that’s it. Your entire business feed is in front of you.
Everything you need to know is there, live. And it’s not just there statically. It’s there helping you make sense of what is happening and what needs your attention.
Why is this relevant? Is this a problem? Why is the business struggling? What’s holding it back? What needs to happen to fix this problem? How can this help the company scale?
The list goes on and on. It’s never-ending.
But we are in the AI era of technology. We have to utilise this incredible technology to solve problems and make things easier. Businesses need people, but they also need efficiency. They need understanding.
I’m constantly giving clients the information they need to make sense of their data and move forward. It’s painstaking, but it’s needed. That’s why Adam’s Brain exists: to fill that gap and speed up the process.
I think that’s enough for this week. Let’s see how the week goes, and I’ll be back next week with another update.
Thanks for reading,
Adam
